This is not a problem, but be sure to turn on the pumps for better mixing. The reason for adding No. 1 first and then No. 2 makes O-Care more soluble. If you add No. 2 first, it may take a little longer for the water to clear.

O-Care will make water maintenance a lot easier but one product that does everything unfortunately does not exist. Water maintenance is a form of chemistry and water balancing and disinfection are two different things that depend on many factors.

A box of O-Care lasts from 2 to 5 months, depending on the volume of your hot tub or spa. Check how much water is in your hot tub or spa, then find the amount you need on the dosage chart found on the bottle and in the manual. You should always add the same amount of O-Care #1 as O-Care #2.

We recommend using a pipe cleaner and changing the water before you start, this way you have a reasonable base to start with. This is also mentioned in the manual in the box.
