One can continue to use the Sugar Valley as usual during the winter as long as the pool is "actively" winterized. Advice is to keep the pool running throughout the winter, just for less time than during the swimming season. Think about an hour every 6 hours, and in more severe frosts, circulate especially at night so the water and pipes have no chance of freezing.

We do not have a repair service ourselves. All repairs are performed by the manufacturer, either directly or through us. Through the link below you can find more information regarding warranty and repairs.

We do not perform maintenance ourselves and do not cooperate with any company that provides maintenance for swimming pools. At Pool.shop, in addition to advice, we only offer goods necessary for the maintenance and/or proper operation of your pool. The range of maintenance services has become so large that we have chosen to no longer recommend companies. We can only advise you to use a google search to see who is active in your area. Of course it is always best to choose someone who is recognized for this and/or has a long experience.

Unfortunately, we are currently unable to provide this option. We are working on a solution to provide this for sure in the future. Please do know that you can always contact us with any questions regarding the robots in our range at support@zwembad.shop or via Live Chat.

UV light breaks down chlorine, this means that if you live in a sunny area the chlorine in your pool will begin to lose its effectiveness faster. So it is important that you regularly test the pH levels of your pool water and be careful to use chlorine products that contain cyanic acid. This is because cyanoic acid prevents degradation but be aware that too much cyanoic acid can be harmful. So always observe the correct dosage listed on the package.
By the way, did you know that we also deliver in France? With our Piscine.shop we are also active in France.

This is entirely due to excessive copper levels in your pool water. The copper levels in your water should always be between 0.3 and 0.8 mg per liter. You can measure this with a photometer for free copper. If your copper levels are too high, you should also measure the pH and adjust as needed. A copper remover or chlorshock can also help in this case.

Test strips are not the most accurate way to measure the values of your pool water. If you find the purchase of a digital meter unnecessary, we can recommend that you keep your test strips in a dry and dark place. When test strips come in contact with sunlight and moisture they lose their effectiveness very quickly.

An ear infection after swimming is due to bacteria and fungi present in the pool water. Here, we recommend testing the pH level of your pool water meter and adjusting as needed. This can possibly be done by adding chlorine which will not only kill bacteria and fungi in the pool water but also disinfect it.
