Although the robot is fully waterproof (IP68 certified), it is recommended to remove it from the pool as soon as the cleaning cycle is complete. Prolonged exposure to pool chemicals such as chlorine can affect the rubber parts and seals in the long term. Thanks to the “smart parking” function, the robot automatically comes to the edge after use, allowing you to lift it out of the water easily and dry.
The AquaSense X takes ease of use to a higher level with its innovative self-cleaning docking station. After a cleaning cycle, the robot returns to the station, where the filter is automatically rinsed clean and the dirt is transferred to a larger external collection bin. This means you don't have to manually empty the robot's internal filter after every cycle, saving you a lot of messy work.
Absolutely, this is one of the biggest advantages of the AquaSense X. Unlike basic models that only clean the floor, this robot features powerful motors and special tracks that allow it to climb vertically up the walls. It scrubs the waterline intensively to remove oily residue and limescale, which is essential for keeping your pool looking well maintained.
The AquaSense X is equipped with a powerful battery that lasts up to 10 hours during surface cleaning (skimming) and approximately 5 hours during a full intensive cleaning of the floor, walls and waterline. Once the robot has finished, it takes approximately 3 to 3.5 hours to fully recharge the battery via the included charging station, so it is quickly ready for the next round.
Yes, the AquaSense X is designed for maximum versatility and works excellently in both built-in and above-ground pools. Whether your pool is made of vinyl, concrete, fibreglass or ceramic tiles, the robot adapts effortlessly. Thanks to its advanced sensors, it can also handle various shapes, from standard rectangular to kidney-shaped or free-form pools.
The fault P7 on a W'eau heat pump means that the ambient temperature is outside the operating range (below approx. 13 °C or above 42 °C). The pump can only work properly if the temperature is at least 13 °C Solution: wait until it gets warmer or check the temperature sensor/controller if the fault keeps recurring.
This issue can sometimes occur and is easy to resolve by pressing the T buttons once all the tablets have been inserted and crushed (i.e. all 3 at the same time), then pressing the OK button. If you have done this correctly, the device will return to the normal measurement cycle.
For Hayward's Powerline pumps, the flow rate stated on the box is at high resistance. On our website, we display the flow rate at average resistance by default. For a reliable comparison, it is therefore best to base your decision on the pump's power in HP:
- 0.25 HP = 9,000 litres per hour
- 0.33 HP = 11,000 litres per hour
- 0.50 HP = 13,000 litres per hour
- 0.75 HP = 16,000 litres per hour
You connect the heat pump via the correct cable connections (see image here):
- Phase wire (L): brown
- Neutral wire (N): blue
- Earth wire: yellow/green
Make sure the connection is carried out by a qualified professional and that the power is switched off during connection.
Yes, these robots are suitable for various shapes and pool materials, including in-ground and above-ground pools made of concrete, vinyl, fibreglass, ceramic tiles, stainless steel and more.
No, these pool robots cannot clean raised platforms or shallow areas where the water level is too low. They must remain fully submerged at all times. As soon as the top of the robot rises above the water, the device automatically switches off to prevent damage. It is therefore important that the raised platform is at least as high as the pool robot.
The main difference between the Beatbot AquaSense 2 and the AquaSense 2 Pro lies in functionality and capacity: in addition to floor, wall and waterline cleaning, the 2 Pro also offers surface cleaning (skimming) and automatic water purification via ClearWater™ technology, whereas the standard AquaSense 2 does not have this. In addition, the 2 Pro has a larger battery (up to 11 hours of skimming), more sensors and extra cleaning modes, making it better suited to larger or more intensively used pools.
You connect a heat pump for your pool to the return pipe of your filter system, so that the heated water flows back into the pool. Installation usually takes place between the sand filter and the jets. Ensure the correct pipe diameter, preferably use PVC and install a bypass so that you can easily switch the heat pump on or off. Always have the electrical connection carried out by a professional for safe operation.
It is best to place your heat pump outside in a well-ventilated spot, preferably as close as possible to the pool or the technical system to limit loss in the pipework. Make sure there is enough free space around the heat pump (at least 50 cm on the sides and 1 metre at the front) for proper air circulation.
Place the heat pump on a stable, level surface and avoid enclosed spaces or corners where warm air lingers. This way, the heat pump works more efficiently and lasts longer.
Consumption depends on several factors, such as the size of your pool, the desired temperature, the season of use, and the efficiency of your heat pump (COP value). By taking these elements into account in a simple calculation, you get a good idea of your daily or monthly energy consumption. Go to the heat pump consumption calculator and find out within one minute how much your heat pump consumes and what it costs you.
Inorganic chlorine has a stronger effect than traditional (organic) chlorine. Inorganic chlorine also contains no stabilisers, so the water remains perfectly manageable in the long term. Inorganic chlorine is always used by pool builders because of its fast and strong action.
CTX Metal Stop can also be used perfectly in your spa. Always take the dosage carefully into account. You can find the correct dosage on the packaging.
Apart from the number given and the grey or blue exterior/canopy, these pool robots are identical. This concerns the OA and RA models. Zodiac has chosen to sell these under a separate series and colour in order to respond to every market demand. When it comes to technology, there is no difference.
– Check your cuvettes for scratches before each measurement, as these scratches can harbour residue from previous samples and thus affect the new sample.
– Always check the expiry dates of your reagents. Reagents that are past their expiry date will no longer provide the same
– Rinse your cuvettes with demineralised water after each sample.
– Always observe the reaction time required before reading the result. Each measured parameter has its own reaction time.
– Always remove fingerprints from the cuvettes before placing them in the measuring device.
– Always take the water temperature into account. We recommend performing your measurements at room temperature. Make sure that the pool water is not higher than 32°C and spa water not higher than 37°C.
– Always take your sample at least 30 cm below the water surface. Make sure not to take your sample near a jet stream.
Incorrect values can be due to various factors. Below we have provided a short list of things to pay attention to when performing a measurement.

The issue with an E002 message is caused by an excessively high output current. This occurs more often in situations with many voltage fluctuations in the electricity network. You can resolve this by, for example, connecting the pump to a different circuit via an extension cable.
This option has not been activated and cannot be activated.
The iSaver 1100 and iSaver 2200 indeed visually have several output relays, however these are not activated and this option is also not possible. The manufacturer chose to make one mould for different types. For the time being, we only sell the types with 1 active output.
With an iSaver, you turn a non-variable pump into a variable pump. This means that it pays for itself in the long run, as your pump no longer has to keep running at maximum power at all times. Of course, we cannot calculate exactly how much you will save, as this depends on your pump and your usage. However, we have heard from customers that, with current energy prices, they have already recovered the cost of the device after just 2 months.
The iSaver 2200 is suitable for all pumps with 2.2 kW and 12 amp power, and everything below that. You can always find the technical specifications of your pump by doing a quick Google search using the type of pump you have. If you are unsure, you can always ask our customer service.
The iSaver 1100 is suitable for all pumps with 1.1 kW and 6 amp power, and everything below that. You can always find the technical specifications of your pump by doing a quick Google search using the type of pump you have. If you are unsure, you can always ask our customer service.
Most disinfectants work in combination with O-Care; if you are used to using bromine and are happy with it, there is no need to change.
Most disinfectants work in combination with O-Care; if you are used to using chlorine and are happy with it, there is no need to change.
That's not a problem, but make sure you switch on the pumps for better mixing. The reason for adding number 1 first and then number 2 is that it makes O-Care more soluble. If you add number 2 first, it may take a little longer for the water to become clear.
O-Care will make water treatment a lot easier, but unfortunately there is no single product that does everything. Water treatment is a form of chemistry, and balancing water and disinfecting it are two different things that depend on many factors.
Yes, O-Care consists of minerals and is not harmful to you, even if you have just added it and the water is still a little cloudy.
A box of O-Care lasts 2 to 5 months, depending on the volume of your hot tub or spa. Check how much water is in your hot tub or spa and then look up the amount you need in the dosage table on the bottle and in the manual. You should always add the same amount of O-Care number 1 as O-Care number 2.
We recommend using a pipe cleaner and refreshing the water before you start, so you have a reasonable basis to begin with. This is also stated in the manual included in the box.
The pump is connected directly to the iSaver. This controls the pump based on time. If the frost protection then cuts off the power to the iSaver, the pump will also switch off automatically.
There is sometimes some confusion regarding the manual, referring to the ‘Boost heat’ option.
However, this option is only available for the W’eau Full-inverters and not for the mini-inverters.
Error code E20 means: abnormal fault of the inverter module.
After this error code, the heat pump will display a second, more specific error code. Below is an overview of the most common error codes:
Error code E20 + 288
- The heat pump installation is too close to a wall or obstacle. At the front and/or back.
- The installation space where the pump is located is too small
- The ambient temperature is too high, which causes a high temperature for the IPM module.
- A fault in the fan motor. Check whether the fan motor is running normally; if the fan does not run, check the wiring of the fan motor or try replacing it with a new fan motor.
No solution found?
It is of course always possible that the heat pump has a defect. If the solution is not listed in the known error codes above, please contact us. We will then look at the correct solution together.
No, Heatsavr has no effect on water quality. If you use Heatsavr, you should add the same amounts of salt or chlorine to the water.
Heatsavr is made from natural raw materials.
You can store Heatsavr indefinitely in a sealed package. We recommend using an opened package within a year.
Yes, Heatsavr consists of substances that occur in nature. Heatsavr complies with European guidelines and can therefore be used safely in your pool. You also do not need to wear protective clothing when dosing Heatsavr.
If you have purchased a new device, you must always remove the plastic divider that protects the batteries. Sometimes you need to unscrew the top of the device to do this. Should you still experience problems with your device afterwards, please contact us via the chat at the bottom right or via the contact page.
There is no difference between the two products other than the naming. The difference in naming came about due to different import regulations within different countries. As a result, the same product may sometimes have one or more names.
Adding too much AquaFinesse® can have a harmful effect on your filters. Depending on the amount added, it may be necessary to completely empty the spa, refill it with fresh water and clean the filters. Please always follow the instructions for use correctly.
AquaFinesseTM is normally supplied with chlorine tablets and a dispenser that releases the chlorine slowly. In addition, you can of course also choose chlorine granules or bromine. This depends on your personal preference and the recommendations of your spa manufacturer.
AquaFinesse® can be used in any spa, old or new. The only requirement is that your spa is equipped with an effective filter system (removable/cleanable filters). This installation must also be able to ensure water circulation through the filters for at least 4 hours a day.
