Measuring quickly and accurately with the Lovibond Scuba 2
To test, fill the integrated sample port by immersing it in water. If the Scuba II falls into the water, it simply floats and the device is obviously waterproof. The addition of a reagent tablet generates a characteristic color that can be measured using the photometric principle. The result is then shown on the large display (3 x 2.2 cm), which facilitates the reading of the measured values.
How to use.
At the top of the Scuba II digital water tester is a compartment that you need to fill with the water you wish to test. So thanks to the tester's waterproofing, you can simply scoop up the water from the pool.
Then close this compartment and press ZERO/TEST. This performs a zero point measurement.
Using the MODE button, you can select the parameter to be tested. Add the appropriate tablet to the water and let it dissolve in the water using the stirring rod. Close the compartment again and press ZERO/TEST again.
Within 15 seconds, you can read the value on the screen. Then rinse and dry the tester to maintain it in the best possible condition.
The measurement is based on photometric principles. Adding the tablet gives the water a characteristic color. This allows the tester to quickly determine the correct result.
