Description
AquacCheck is the test strip in the pool world for testing your pool water. The AquacCheck 4 in 1 allows you to test 4 different parameters at once; pH / total alkaline / free chlorine / stabilizer. These 4 values are the most important values to keep your pool water healthy.
- Faster results than digital testers
- A lot cheaper than other pool testers
- Contains as many as 50 test strips so you can get along for a while
User Manual
Dip the stick into the pool water and compare the colors with the back of the jar. This allows you to compare the colors to display the appropriate value.
Please note: the stick is no longer usable after 30 seconds. We recommend not testing the pool water in the sun and also dipping the stick deeper than 20 cm. The sun has a great influence on the water quality and thus the first layer of water may have a distorted picture.
What values can you measure with the AquaCheck 4 in 1?
pH value
The neutral pH value is 7.2. The pH value is influenced by sunlight so never take a measurement in the afternoon. We recommend doing it in the morning or evening to have the exact pH value. pH value is adjustable via pH plus or pH minus.
Free chlorine value
The free chlorine in your pool is the active working chlorine. This value should be approximately between 1 and 3 ppm. A chlorine shock every week to kill all bacteria is a must. Thus, you can make the combination between chlorine tablets and chlorine granules.
Alkalinity
The alkaline is the basis of healthy pool water. This value should have a minimum of 80. If it is lower than 80, you can add an alkaline increasing product. Rain causes a decrease in this value, city water causes an increase.
Stabilizer
The stabilizer value reflects the chemical contamination. If the stabilizer value exceeds 100, we recommend emptying the pool, cleaning it with the appropriate products and refilling it.
