Replaceable pH electrode
Hanna Instruments' exclusive pH electrode. Replacing the electrode with the stainless steel connector means no pins can bend or break during replacement.
Renewable cloth function
When the cloth-junction gets dirty from frequent testing, just pull out 3 mm to improve response time and stability.
Temperature sensor
The temperature probe shown on the pHep®4 and pHep®5 has a fast response time and its proximity to the pH electrode ensures more accurate temperature offsets.

Remove the instrument from its packaging and carefully check that no damage has occurred
