How to use the Estelle DCS automatic filter cleaner.
Step 1: Remove the dirty filter from your spa, whirlpool or hot tub according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Step 2: Place the filter in the Estelle. Connect the device to the water supply and open the tap. The first part of the filter cleaning process begins, completely automatically, and by water pressure alone.
Step 3: After the first part of the cleaning process is complete, flip the switch so that the second part of the cleaning process can begin.
Step 4: Depending on the size of the filter to be cleaned, the entire process takes only about 1 minute. Place the clean filter back into your spa, whirlpool or hot tub and empty the Estelle.
Complete cleaning without liquids
Inserting your spa filter into the Estelle DCS automatic filter cleaner is effortless with an included connector, which you twist over a guide. Turning on the faucet creates a powerful jet that slowly rotates the filter. This completely cleans the filter without the use of detergents. You can clean your spa's filter after each use, but you don't have to. It is recommended to do this at least once every 1-2 weeks.
What filters fit in the Estelle filter cleaner?
The Estelle DCS can clean the following filter sizes:
- Diameter inside the filter: 30 to 80 mm
- Diameter outside of filter: up to 250 mm
- Maximum height of the filter with the top closed: 300 mm
- Maximum height of filter when open top: 360 mm
How often should I clean?
Preferably after every use, but at least every week, check the spa filter for clogging and/or stinking. At each check, you would do well to clean the filter immediately. This is best after every use. Of course, skipping once is not a bad thing, but in any case, stick to cleaning the filter at least once in 1-2 weeks. After 2-3 months, the filter needs to be replaced.
