Pool pH is hugely important for clean and clear pool water. The pH level should be as close to 7.2 as possible for a clean and clear pool. If the pH level of the pool water is not right, then the chlorine you add will not work as well or as well. So the pool may still be unclean or green even though you add a lot of chlorine. Because the pH level of the pool needs to be monitored very closely, there are automatic regulators that completely take over checking and adjusting the pH level from you.
