AquaRite Turbo Cell - 150 m³
The T-Cell 15 of the Hayward AquaRite Pro provides the electrolysis in the system. Salt water is converted to chlorine gases to perform disinfection. Inside the cell is also a salt meter to measure the instant salt of the pool water. This salt meter is not separately replaceable. The cell is supplied separately so both glands should remain on the system.
Placement of the T cell 15
The AquaRite Pro is contained in a rainproof housing that can be mounted outdoors. The control unit must be installed at a horizontal distance of at least 3.5 meters (or more if required by local regulations) from the pool/spa. The control unit is designed to be mounted horizontally on a flat surface with the removable covers called knockouts) facing down. Since the housing also acts as a cold source (dissipates the heat trapped inside), it is important that the 4 sides of the control unit remain clear. Do not mount the AquaRite Pro inside a panel or in an enclosed space.
When is it clear that the cell is broken
If the AquaRite Pro displays an error message indicating too little salt is present in the system, it should be measured manually. If salt is present and the cell indicates that it is not, it should be replaced. If it appears that the electrolysis is active (ON) next to the 'ORP' value, and you press info with the arrow to the right until you see 'instant salt' this should not be 0.0 grams either. This then indicates a faulty cell.
