Range of this digital salinity

The meter has a range of 0.00 ~ 19.99 ppt and reads salinity with an accuracy of ± 2%. The resolution is 0.01 ppt. We recommend first calibrating (tuning) the meter with the calibration fluid provided. The screwdriver needed to calibrate is also included, as are the 4x 1.5V button cell batteries for the meter. The temperature range is 0 - 50 °C.

The ideal salt level for a saltwater pool is between 2.7 - 3.4 ppt (2700 - 3400 ppm), with the optimum level being 3.2 ppt (3200 ppm). At this level, the pool provides the health benefits mentioned above. However, if the amount of salt in the pool water is too high or too low, unwanted side effects can occur.
