The Bestway Skimatic stands out for its dual filtration, combining a skimmer and a filter pump in one unit, making it even more effective at removing debris. On top of the filter pump is the skimmer, where all debris floating on the surface of the water is collected. This dirt is collected in a skimmer basket, preventing it from entering the cartridge and preventing the cartridge from clogging unnecessarily quickly.
Installation of the Bestway Skimatic filter pump is easy. Place the cartridge in the filter and attach it to the edge of your pool, submerged in the water. Plug it in and you're done! Please note that this filter pump is not suitable for built-in pools. To keep the filter pump working optimally, it is important to replace the cartridge every 2 weeks.
If you have a hand vacuum that needs to be connected to the filter pump, you can easily remove the skimmer basket from the Bestway Skimatic. At the bottom of the skimmer is a connector where you can easily connect the hose from your vacuum cleaner. This is ideal for cleaning the bottom of your pool!
