Efficient disinfection by ozone and UV-C
By using ozone as well as UV-C, the unit provides even better disinfection than other units. Your pool water is pumped into the reactor. Due to the speed of the water flowing through the reactor, air is drawn in through the venturi. This air enters the unit's housing between the quartz glass and the ozone UV-C lamp. Thus, the air is charged with ozone and mixed with the pool water. This thoroughly disinfects the pool water because the lamp has a double function together with the ozone.
Standard included
- stainless steel housing
- T5 UV-C 75 watt lamp
- Quartz glass where the lamp goes in
- 63mm to 50mm adapters
Use and installation
The UV-C lamp always works in conjunction with another disinfection technique, such as chlorine. Thanks to the UV-C radiation emitted by the lamp, the last bacteria are killed that the chlorine normally cannot tackle. So a UV-C lamp is always an addition to your current disinfection technique.
You install the UV-C lamp as the last part in the technology installation, i.e. before the water goes back to your pool. The lamp operates on 230v mains power.
