Description
Filter tray standard (100 micron) for Zodiac Vortex 3 / 4 / RV 4400/5400/5500/5600 pool robot
The filter bag is the heart of your Zodiac pool robot: this is where all the dirt that your robot picks up from the floor and walls collects. With this standard 100 micron filter bag, you capture regular pool debris – think leaves, insects, sand and coarser particles – so your water stays clear and your robot keeps performing as you're used to. An original, well-fitting filter bag ensures that your robot keeps suctioning optimally and that you won't encounter any surprises.
This filter bag is a direct replacement part: old one out, new one in, and you're ready for the season again.
Built to last
A filter basket has a hard time of it. It is constantly filled, emptied, rinsed and exposed to chlorine and sunlight. That's exactly why material quality is so important here. This basket is made from robust, chlorine- and UV-resistant plastic with a fine-mesh filter fabric that keeps its shape and doesn't stretch or tear easily. The 100 micron mesh reliably retains dirt while allowing water to flow through smoothly, even after countless cleaning sessions. This means you can keep using this basket season after season without any loss of suction power.
Why an original part is your best choice
The fit matters a great deal. A filter basket that doesn't quite close properly lets dirt through or causes reduced performance. Because this is the correct model for your robot, it clicks into place exactly as it should and connects watertight. This way you get the full cleaning power out of your Zodiac robot while also protecting the pump and motor against dirt that would otherwise flow through.
Suitable for your robot?
This 100 micron filter basket fits the following models: Zodiac Vortex 3, Vortex 3 4WD, Vortex 4, RV 4400 Vortex Pro, RV 5400 Vortex 4WD, RV 5500 Vortex 4WD and RV 5600 Vortex 4WD. Always check the type of your robot first to make sure you get the right basket. Not sure? At Pool.shop we're happy to help you find the right part.
Maintenance tip
Rinse the filter basket thoroughly with a garden hose after each cleaning session and let it air dry. This prevents clogging and extends the life of your filter basket. It pays to keep a spare basket on hand, so you can always continue straight away while the other one dries.
