Description
Filter tray extra fine (60 micron) for Zodiac Vortex 3 / 4 / RV 4400/5400/5500/5600 pool robot
The filter basket is the heart of your Zodiac pool robot: all the dirt that the robot picks up from the floor and walls ends up here. This extra fine version with a filtration grade of 60 micron catches not only leaves and coarser dirt, but also fine particles such as pollen, sand and algae residue. This way, your robot keeps your water visibly clearer.
This filter basket is an original replacement part that fits a wide range of Zodiac Vortex models. Handy if your old basket has become worn, clogged or damaged through intensive use.
When is it time for a new filter basket?
A filter basket takes quite a beating with every cleaning cycle. Do you notice that the robot holds onto dirt less well, that the filter material shows small tears, or that the basket no longer closes properly? Then your robot is no longer performing as it should. With a fresh filter basket, it will suction at full strength again and keep the collected dirt neatly where it belongs.
What does 60 micron mean in practice?
The 60 micron rating refers to the fineness of the filter fabric: the lower the number, the smaller the particles that are caught. This extra fine variant is ideal if you're dealing with fine dust, pollen or a light layer of algae in the water. If you're looking for something for coarser leaves, a coarser filtration grade is sometimes more practical — not sure? I'm happy to help you think through the best choice for your situation.
