During the day, the cover captures sunlight and transfers that heat directly to your pool water, so your pool becomes a few degrees warmer and cools down much more slowly in the evening.
With a cover size of 286 x 161 cm, this cover is designed for rectangular frame pools of around 300 x 175 cm. The black/blue design is not just a colour choice: the dark underside absorbs heat optimally, while the top cleverly lets sunlight through.
Retaining heat and reducing evaporation
The air bubbles in the 200-micron film act as an insulating layer on the water surface. During the day, your water heats up faster, and once the sun has gone, the cover retains that heat. An added benefit: you lose considerably less water through evaporation, and less leaves and debris blow into your pool, giving your pump and filter an easier time.
Easy to use
The cover is made of sturdy PE and is lightweight, so you can easily place it over the water and remove it again. It is not hemmed and has no eyelets, so you simply lay it loosely on the water surface. Tip: lay the film with the bubbles facing down and trim it if necessary for a seamless fit around your pool.
