Seal set for Kripsol Ondina/Koral and Starline SL pool pump
Is your pool pump leaking at the shaft, or can you hear the pump running dry and squeaking? Then the shaft seal (the mechanical seal) usually needs replacing. With this seal set, you can get your Kripsol Ondina, Kripsol Koral or Starline SL pump fully back in order, without having to buy a completely new pump.
The seal keeps the water inside the pump housing and stops it from escaping along the motor shaft or running into the motor. When the seal wears out, you will see water droplets at the junction between the pump and motor. A new seal set solves this problem expertly.
Does this seal fit my pump?
This set is suitable for a wide range of Kripsol and Starline pumps. Just check whether your type is included: Kripsol Koral KS50, KS75 (also three-phase), KS100 (also three-phase), KS150 (also three-phase) and KS200 (also three-phase), Kripsol Ondina OK-33, OK-51, OK-71 and OK-100, and the Starline SL pool pumps. Why you shouldn't ignore a worn seal
A leaking shaft seal may seem harmless, but water running along the shaft into the motor can eventually damage the bearings and even the motor itself. By replacing the seal in time, you avoid a much more expensive repair and significantly extend the lifespan of your pump.
Replacing it yourself
Replacing the seal set is easy to do yourself with a bit of practical skill. Make sure you disconnect the pump from the power supply and shut off the water before you start.
