You'll notice it straight away when you lay this cover next to your pool: with a cover size of 335 cm, it's deliberately made larger than the 305 cm of your Intex Easy Set. That extra size provides a generous overlap of 30 cm all round, and that's exactly what makes the difference in practice. The cover falls neatly over the edge of your pool rather than stretching tightly across it, which means it stays in place and the wind has far less grip on it.
This way, you keep leaves, insects, dust and other debris out of the water, so at the start of a warm day you'll have much less scooping and cleaning to do before you can get in.
Retaining heat between swims
A covered pool cools down far more slowly at night. The dark blue cover, made from high-quality vinyl, forms an insulating layer over the water, so the heat built up during the day is retained for longer. If you use a heat pump or solar heating, it will work more efficiently as a result, saving you energy. Less water also evaporates, meaning you'll need to top it up less often.
An extra sense of security
Besides clean, warm water, the cover also gives you extra peace of mind when the pool isn't in use. It forms a physical barrier that keeps curious children and pets away.
