Algibon anti-algae 1kg (PM-614) – Piscimar

Green, cloudy or slimy water due to algae? With Algibon from Piscimar you tackle that unwanted growth at the root and prevent the algae from returning. It is a highly concentrated, versatile algaecide that does not foam and at the same time gives your water a beautiful, clear colour.

I particularly recommend this product if you are looking for a powerful maintenance treatment that does several things at once: fighting algae, repelling water insects, increasing transparency and even helping to remove black bacteria. One product, five effects.

Getting the most out of it

For the best result, first check your water values. Make sure the pH is between 7.2 and 7.6 and measure the phosphate level: if it is above 200 ppb, treat first with a phosphate remover. Then pour Algibon directly into the pool water while the filter is running, so that the product spreads evenly. For start-up, allow 2 litres per 100 m³ of water; for maintenance, 1 litre per 100 m³ is sufficient, about once a month for private pools.

Good to know beforehand

Algibon is not suitable for liner or polyester pools, nor for pools with a salt chlorinator — so check which type of pool you have before ordering. The product also contains copper sulphate pentahydrate and is a chemical agent: wear gloves and goggles when dosing, wash your hands thoroughly after use, and prevent it from entering the environment.
