Description
Zodiac Freerider 5200 IQ pool robot
The Zodiac Freerider 5200 IQ is a cordless pool robot that takes the hard work off your hands: the floor, walls and waterline are all thoroughly cleaned, without hoses or a fixed connection to your filter system. As it runs entirely on battery power, you simply place it in the water and let it do its work. Ideal for liner and foil pools up to 10 x 5 metres.
What makes this robot so pleasant to use is the combination of convenience and reliability. You operate it via the app on your smartphone or directly on the device, choosing between a complete clean or a quick floor clean. With a capacity of 13 m³ per hour and a fine cartridge filter, it also effortlessly removes smaller dirt from your pool.
Built to last for years
For a robot that ploughs through your pool weekly, everything revolves around durability. The Freerider 5200 IQ has a sturdy plastic housing that withstands constant contact with water and chlorine, precisely the factors that wear down cheaper materials over time. The PVC brush is designed to keep gripping and not wear out quickly, so the cleaning performance doesn't decline over time.
The dynamic dual motor not only provides extra grip on the walls but also distributes the load, which benefits the lifespan. Zodiac's confidence in the construction is clear from the 3-year warranty you get on this robot.
Smart filter maintenance
The cartridge filter with a capacity of 4 litres is accessible from the top, so you can easily lift it out of the robot after a cleaning session, empty it and rinse it. A well-maintained filter is the best maintenance you can give: it keeps the suction power at the right level and prevents unnecessary motor wear. Thanks to the transparent cover, you can see at a glance how much dirt has been collected.
Practical to use
With a weight of 9.5 kilos and compact dimensions of 43 x 40 x 30 cm, you can easily lift it in and out of the water. The battery lasts around 2 hours and is fully recharged again in approximately 5 hours, more than enough for a complete cleaning cycle. The water outflow at the back and top helps the robot move stably along the wall and waterline. A transport trolley is available as an option if you want to move or store it a little more comfortably.
