A clogged or too-fine filter fills up incredibly quickly with coarse debris, causing the suction power to drop and your robot to only do half the job. This coarse filter basket (type EC 200, 200 micron) is specifically made to capture that larger debris effortlessly.

For finer work – such as sand and suspended particles – a standard and an extra-fine filter are also available for the same robot, so you always have the right basket for the moment.
