PVC Threaded Socket 50 mm x 1.5” Female Thread
The PVC threaded socket 50 mm x 1.5” female thread is a versatile fitting that allows you to easily make the transition from a 50 mm solvent weld connection to a threaded connection. On one side, this threaded socket has a 50 mm solvent weld connection (inside), and on the other side a 1.5” female thread (approx. 3.81 cm).
This type of fitting is widely used in pressure pipe systems where a combination of fixed PVC pipes and threaded components is required. Ideal for pool installations, water pipe systems or other applications where fluids are moved under pressure.
Practical transition from solvent weld to threaded connection
With this threaded socket, you can easily connect a 50 mm PVC pressure pipe to a 1.5” male thread connection. This makes it suitable for, among other things, pumps, valves, filters and other technical components that work with threaded connections.

Installation advice
Glue the 50 mm side with suitable PVC adhesive onto a 50 mm pressure pipe. For the 1.5” female thread, use Teflon tape or sealing cord on the male thread of the part to be connected. Tighten by hand and avoid excessive force to prevent damage to the thread.
