Your spa is only as clean as the filter that works through it day in, day out. And that filter takes quite a battering: fats, skin cells, sun cream, cosmetics and limescale build up in the filter fleece. With SpaBalancer FilterClean Natural, I'm giving you a thorough, natural filter cleaner in powder form that gets your spa filter fresh and functional again — suitable for hot tubs of any brand.
This is German quality made up exclusively of natural ingredients. No aggressive chemicals, but a cleaner that dissolves dirt and is biodegradable. Exactly what you want for something that will later come into contact with your bath water again.
Why this filter lasts longer
A good filter isn't cheap, and it's a real shame to have to replace it early simply because it's clogged up. That's where the real benefit of FilterClean Natural lies: by truly deep-cleaning the fleece instead of just rinsing it, you keep the flow rate and filter capacity up to standard. The active oxygen in the powder breaks down the biofilm in the fleece — that stubborn layer where bacteria and odours take hold — keeping your filter not just cleaner, but structurally healthier too. Grease, oil, cosmetics and limescale build-up are all dissolved, so the fibres are freed up again to do their job. This significantly extends the lifespan of your filter and postpones an expensive replacement.
What you'll notice after a cleaning session
The difference is visible and noticeable by smell. Filters that had begun to “stink” come out odour-free, and the bleaching effect turns yellowed filter fleece bright white again. A handy detail: the product is strongly foam-reduced, making it much easier and quicker to rinse the filter clean after soaking, without endless foam.
How to use it
Fill a bucket with approximately 10 litres of warm water — enough to fully submerge most filters — and add half a measuring cup (50 ml) of FilterClean Natural. Let the filter soak in this for around 12 hours, then remove it and rinse it thoroughly. For larger filters or stubborn dirt, simply increase the dosage. I recommend cleaning every two to three weeks, and fitting a second filter during that period so your spa can keep running as normal.
Good value in use
With one 0.95 kg tub, you can clean up to 16 filters. So it lasts a long time, keeping the cost per cleaning session low.
Working safely
Even a natural cleaner requires care. Keep the product out of reach of children, do not inhale the powder, and wear protective gloves and eye protection when dosing. Always follow the instructions on the label.
