Intex SX2100 Plus sand filter pump – 6 m³/h
Do you want to easily keep your above-ground pool clear and clean? Then the Intex SX2100 Plus sand filter pump is a reliable choice that will bring you years of enjoyment. With a capacity of 6 m³ per hour, this system filters the water of pools up to around 24,000 litres, while the ease of use is surprisingly high. The built-in timer does the work for you, and thanks to the 6-way valve you have all filter functions under control with one handle.
This set contains everything you need to get started right away: the filter tank with mounting plate, a pre-filter, two 440 cm hoses, the connecting hose, the 6-way valve, a pressure gauge and, of course, the manual. All you need to add is filter material.
Built to last for years
The filter tank is made of robust polyethylene, a material that is highly resistant to moisture, UV radiation and the chemicals present in your pool water. Where metal can eventually rust, plastic remains virtually indestructible — it does not discolour, does not corrode and keeps its shape season after season. That is precisely why this pump doesn't need to be replaced after just one summer, but will last as long as you enjoy your pool.
The pump operates on 230 V with a power of 370 W and is designed for low resistances, so the system keeps running efficiently without unnecessary strain. You get 2 years warranty via Intex on the pump, the filter tank and the valve — a nice sign that you can count on durability.
Flexible in filter material
A great advantage is that you can choose what to fill the tank with yourself. Traditionally you use 23 kg of fine filter sand, but the tank is also suitable for 19.6 kg of filter glass, 17.25 kg of glass beads or just 640 grams of filter balls. With filter glass or balls you often filter more finely and save on weight and rinse water, while sand remains the most budget-friendly classic. This way you choose the filter medium that best suits your needs.
Handy to know about the installation
This is a Top Mount system with the valve on top of the tank, fitted with a standard 38 mm screw connection that fits seamlessly onto the included hoses. Please note that the pump is not self-priming and must therefore be placed below the water level. With dimensions of 54 x 47 x 61.5 cm, the system will fit in almost any garden next to your pool.
