What makes this cleaning product special is its gel form. Whereas a liquid product simply runs down the wall, this gel sticks neatly to where you need it. This gives the product time to really work on the scum, and you'll notice it in the result.

A clean, shiny waterline without the hassle

The Borkler Gel has a dual action: it dissolves greasy scum and breaks down the limescale line at the same time. So you don't need to scrub with two different products. After a short contact time, you rinse it off and you're left with a fresh, even waterline. Faded or dull coatings often also regain some of their colour and shine – so your pool immediately looks well maintained and like new again.

Can be used on any type of pool

Whether you have a liner, polyester, tiles or a coated wall: this gel works on all surfaces. Handy is that the product doesn't cause foam in the water and has no negative effect on your water treatment. Even if a little rinse water gets into the pool, your water quality remains fine. So you can perfectly well use the gel while your pool is in use, or during a thorough maintenance session.

How to go about it

First lower the water level by around 5 to 10 cm, so you can access the dirty line freely. Apply the gel with a sponge, leave it to work for around 5 minutes (up to a maximum of an hour for stubborn spots) and then rinse thoroughly with water. Because the gel adheres well, you only need to apply it once to loosen most of the dirt.

Something to note before you start

Make sure the free chlorine level is below 4 mg/l and bromine below 9 mg/l before you start. Important: never pour water over the product, as it reacts strongly even with a small amount of moisture. Also do not use the gel while someone is swimming. If you follow these simple conditions, you'll work safely and quickly achieve a pool with a sleek, clean waterline.
