Housing Blue Lagoon UV-C Salt Water 40/75 watt
In a UV-C system everything works together, but the housing is literally the foundation: it is the casing through which the water flows and where the UV-C lamp does its work. If the housing of your Blue Lagoon UV-C Saltwater 40- or 75 watt becomes damaged or worn, you fortunately don't have to replace your complete unit straight away. With this separate housing, you simply give your existing system a new, watertight heart.
It is an original Blue Lagoon part (manufacturer code B910002ZW), specially designed for the saltwater version of 40 and 75 watt. This way you know for certain that everything connects seamlessly once again.
Replacing instead of buying a replacement
A UV-C housing is under pressure day in, day out from flowing water and, in a salt system, from salt. That takes its toll over time. The great thing is that here you only replace the part that is actually worn. Your lamp, your quartz glass and the connections simply remain in use. That saves you a significant expense compared to a complete new device, and you don't throw away anything that still functions perfectly well.
Quickly crystal-clear water again
The biggest advantage lies in the convenience. Instead of reconnecting and recalibrating your entire installation, you simply unscrew the old housing and fit this new one in its place. Within a short time, your UV-C system does what it's meant to do again: rendering algae and bacteria harmless, so that you need less chemistry and your water stays clear. A small intervention with a big result.
Keep an eye on your system
My tip: check your UV-C housing regularly for wear, hairline cracks or leakage. By replacing it in time, you prevent being left without protection and the water turning cloudy.
