Clean spa water starts with a good filter, and that's exactly what this Darlly SC704 provides. This replacement cartridge continuously captures all the dirt that ends up in your hot tub: hair, leaves, sand, dust, skin oils, body lotion and even a large part of the bacteria. This keeps the water clear without you having to constantly keep on top of it yourself.
The SC704 is a widely used “Type 4” size and therefore fits an enormous number of spas and hot tubs. You'll also recognise it by the many reference codes that refer to exactly the same filter: Pleatco PRB25-IN (also written as PRB251N), Unicel C-4326, Filbur FC-2375 and Darlly code 42513. Do you see one of these codes on your old filter or in your manual? Then you're in the right place.
The work the filter takes off your hands
Without a good filter, you would constantly have to scoop and scrub your spa water by hand, and refresh it completely much more often. That's not only labour-intensive, it also costs quite a lot of water and chemicals. The SC704 does that work for you 24/7: while the pump runs, all the water passes through the 106 pleats with a total of around 2.5 m² of filter fabric. Fine dirt is retained, and you only need to take the cartridge out and rinse it every so often.
Washable and therefore economical
The filter fabric is made of durable Reemay/Dacron material that is highly resistant to chemicals. So you don't have to throw it away after a single use: simply rinse it with the garden hose and put it back. This way, one filter lasts a long time. If you notice that the pleats stay grey or the flow rate decreases, it's time for a new one — as a rough guide, expect this about once a season with normal use. The SC704 comes with a standard 1-year warranty.
Will this fit my spa?
Measurements are key: the filter is 34 cm long, has a diameter of approximately 13 cm and an open fitting of 5.4 cm at both the top and bottom. Measure your old cartridge or check the code, so you can be sure it fits.
