Replacing the UV-C lamp
The average lifespan of a UV-C lamp is approximately one year. For continued optimal operation of your UV-C filter, it is therefore recommended to replace the lamp annually.
Safety
Please note: UV-C radiation is harmful to the eyes when you look directly into a lit lamp. Always switch off the lamp before replacing it. Most UV-C filters are equipped with a safety switch that ensures the lamp automatically switches off as soon as the housing is opened.
