That's exactly what this Blue Lagoon measuring and dosing pump takes care of for you. It continuously monitors the chlorine value and automatically doses as soon as needed, so you only have to worry about swimming.
This BL220 is a digital peristaltic dosing pump with a built-in measuring instrument. Thanks to the clear digital display, you see at a glance what's happening in your water, and the pump takes the correction work entirely off your hands.
Always water at the right level, without manual measuring
The great thing about this dosing pump is the continuous monitoring. The built-in meter constantly monitors the value and doses precisely at the right moment, with a fixed flow of 1.8 litres per hour at 1 bar. The result is water that doesn't fluctuate between “a bit too little” and “just too much”, but stays stable and pleasant day in, day out. No more cloudy water after a warm day full of swimmers, and no chlorine smell from overdosing.
Measuring, dosing and keeping track yourself
The measurements are continuously displayed on the screen. The device measures within a range of 0.00 to 14.00 pH and 0 to +999 mV (redox), and the electrode is connected via a BNC connector. The memory statistics are handy: you can look back at what has happened and check error messages. If something goes wrong, the alarm LED flashes, so you immediately see that attention is needed.
Chlorine or pH – you decide the application
This is one smart basic model that you set up for your own situation. With the supplied or optional set, the pump gets to work as a redox (chlorine) dosing unit or as a pH dosing unit. The set includes an electrode with a 2.5 metre cable and BNC connection, calibration fluid and an electrode holder with a hose clamp for in-line installation. Calibration is done easily via a one-point procedure, so you're up and running without any hassle.
Reliable and maintenance-friendly in use
The pump is made of a sturdy PP housing and works on a standard 230V connection with a plug – hang it on the wall and connect it. The peristaltic hose pump runs quietly, and you can easily replace the hose cassette yourself when needed. Extra convenient are the built-in protection against overdosing and the leak detection system for the hose, allowing you to dose worry-free for years. With dimensions of 25 x 20 x 14 cm, it takes up little space, and thanks to a 2-year warranty, you're well covered.
Good to know for installation
Before fitting the injection valve, we recommend ordering a saddle clamp as well; this allows you to mount the dosing connection neatly onto the pipework.
