Description
Aquaforte GPF-10000 pressure filter
Would you like to enjoy clear, healthy water throughout your pond season without having to get to work every week? Then the Aquaforte GPF-10000 pressure filter is a real recommendation. This compact but powerful pressure filter effectively removes dirt, suspended particles and organic waste from the water, while the built-in UV-C lamp also tackles suspended algae immediately. The result: crystal-clear water that both you and your fish will enjoy.
At Pool.shop, we are happy to recommend this filter to pond enthusiasts who want to keep their water clean in a reliable and maintenance-friendly way. The GPF-10000 combines both mechanical and biological filtration in one housing, so you don't need several devices.
The key benefits
The great advantage of this pressure filter is its ease of use. Thanks to the handy rotary lever, you can clean the filter without having to open the lid or remove the filter media. You simply turn the lever and the dirty water is automatically discharged via the waste water outlet. This keeps maintenance simple and your hands clean.
The included 11-watt UV-C lamp causes suspended algae to clump together, after which the filter collects them. This prevents green water and keeps your pond clear throughout the season. With a maximum flow rate of 10,000 litres per hour, this filter processes a considerable amount of water.
Which pond is this suitable for?
The GPF-10000 is suitable for various types of ponds. For an ornamental pond without fish, you can use this filter up to around 12,000 litres. If you have a pond with fish, we recommend the filter up to 6,000 litres, and for a koi pond up to 3,000 litres. Koi and other fish produce more waste, meaning you need more filter capacity per litre. Not sure about the right size for your situation? We are happy to think along with you.
Placement and installation
You can easily place this pressure filter above ground at the edge of your pond, but because it is a pressure filter, you can also bury it (partially) or hide it behind planting. This way, the filter is barely noticeable in your garden. Thanks to the included connection sizes of 19, 25, 32 and 40 mm, you can connect it to almost any standard pond hose.
Please note: this filter is supplied without a pump. You will therefore need a suitable pond pump to allow the water to flow through the filter under pressure. We are happy to help you choose a suitable pump.
