Do you experience fluctuating pH values in your pool? Then Alka Plus is the solution. This product efficiently increases the total alkalinity (TA) of your pool water, which is essential for a stable pH value. A correct TA value prevents large pH fluctuations and ensures optimal effectiveness of chlorine and other chemicals.
CTX Alka Plus dissolves quickly, is easy to dose and prevents corrosion of pool systems. It is suitable for both private pools and public swimming pools.
A minimum of 80 alkalinity is recommended in the pool. It provides a solid base and a minimum of 6.8 pH. Mains water has an alkalinity value of at least 180 grams, which means that a freshly filled pool has a good alkaline base. However, rain has an alkalinity value of 0! The more it rains, the more the base of your water is disrupted. For all automation systems (both salt and chlorine-based), we recommend a minimum of 80 grams of alkalinity.
Instructions for use of Alka Plus 6kg
When the alkalinity value of your pool water is lower than 80, we recommend increasing it. A dosage of 180 g/10 m³ to increase the TAC by 10 mg/L. This may be increased gradually. First dissolve the granules in lukewarm or warm water and then distribute over the water surface. If you have an automatic pH control system, it must be switched off for 12 hours.
