Which pool liner do I need?

For an above-ground pool or steel-wall pool, you usually choose a standard liner with an overhang or overlap profile. Important here are the correct dimensions (such as Ø360 x 120 cm) and the thickness of the material. The thicker the foil, the better the wear resistance and UV resistance.

Do you use your pool throughout the season or leave it up permanently? Then a thicker liner of 0.6 mm or 0.8 mm is recommended. This retains its shape better, feels more comfortable and lasts longer — even when exposed to sunlight, heat and chlorine.

For larger or in-ground pools, welded foil is usually the best solution. This is cut to size and professionally fitted, resulting in a tight, seamless finish with maximum lifespan.

Colour and appearance of your pool foil

The colour of your liner largely determines the appearance of your pool water. A light blue liner ensures fresh, clear water with a summery look. Darker liners give the water a deeper, luxurious look. There are also liners with a mosaic print or textured foil, which add an extra visual dimension to your pool.

Please note: darker liners can help the water warm up slightly faster, while lighter colours help make discolouration less visible.
