Description
Rento sauna chair cover beige 50x60cm
Imagine stepping into the sauna, sitting down on the warm wooden bench, and not feeling that rough, sometimes slightly sticky wood against your skin, but a soft cotton cover in a calm beige tone. That's exactly what this Rento sauna seat cover from the Kenno line gives you. Despite the name “bench cover”, it's actually a handy seat mat that you simply place on the sauna bench — a small piece of textile that instantly makes your sauna experience more comfortable and hygienic.
With a size of 50 × 60 cm, it's perfect for one person and light enough to take anywhere, from your own home sauna to the sauna at the campsite or at the pool.
A fresher, better-protected sauna bench
Sauna benches are made of porous wood that absorbs sweat, skin oils and dirt. Over time, this leads to dark patches and a less fresh bench. If you place this seat cover underneath, the fabric absorbs all that moisture instead of the wood. The result: your benches stay a nice light colour for longer, they smell fresher and the hygiene noticeably improves — especially pleasant if you share the sauna with several people.
Soft cotton with a natural look
The cover consists of 75% cotton and 25% polyester and is made from recycled material. You can tell by the soft, slightly lively texture of the fabric — not a stiff, smooth mat but something that feels pleasant against your skin. The beige colour suits almost any wooden interior, and the neat chambray edges give it a neat, timeless finish. As a conscious choice, it also carries the Design from Finland label.
Maintenance and washing advice
Wash the cover briefly before first use, and afterwards separately on a delicate wash programme at 40 °C. Bear in mind that the fabric can shrink by around 5%; pull it back into shape while damp. Ironing is fine at a medium-high temperature. Do not tumble dry and do not dry clean — this way your seat cover stays looking good for a long time.
