Actibon Shock bactericide and algicide – 1 litre
Actibon Shock is a powerful bactericide and algicide that gives the action of your disinfectant (chlorine, bromine or active oxygen) a significant boost. This concentrated product prevents the formation of green and yellow algae and pink bacteria, and also helps restore green and cloudy water. Ideal as weekly support for your water treatment or as a rescue remedy for sudden water problems, for example after a thunderstorm or a shortage of disinfectant. 
By working together with your existing oxidising agent, micro-organisms are eliminated faster and the water stays visibly clearer and fresher. Please note: Actibon Shock is not compatible with pools treated with biguanides.
From green to crystal-clear water
Actibon Shock has been specially developed for:
- Recovering green pool water after, for example, a storm or insufficient chlorine.
- Extra activation of chlorine in pools with a high stabiliser concentration (isocyanuric acid).
- Preventive use to counter algae growth and bacteria formation, so the water stays clear for longer.
By dosing the product directly into the pool, it quickly acts on the problem areas in the water. This helps your filter and disinfectant perform even better together.
Instructions for use Actibon Shock
For optimal results, follow these steps:
- Make sure the pH value of the pool water is between 7.2 and 7.6.
- Switch on the filter system so the water circulates properly.
- Pour Actibon Shock directly, spreading it over the pool surface.
Dosage:
- Starting dose (new treatment): 0.5 litres per 100 m³ of pool water.
- Weekly maintenance: 0.2 litres per 100 m³ of water, once a week.
- Shock treatment for green water: 0.5 litres per 100 m³ of water if the pool is green due to a storm or a shortage of disinfectant.
After dosing, let the pump run for a few hours so the product can distribute properly. Afterwards, check the clarity of the water and the chlorine and pH values, and correct if necessary.
