Description
Suction filter from Hanna Instruments fitting any 6 x 4 mm tubing. This suction filter is placed inside the vial to avoid sucking up contamination and therefore clogging the lines. The weighted suction filter always remains on the bottom so that maximum suction is achieved.
Suction filter from the brand Hanna Instruments
The intake filter is always connected inside the vial to the intake line. This intake filter prevents the aspiration of contamination/residue remaining on the bottom of the vial. The suction filter is weighted and thus remains very easily on the bottom, so the maximum is sucked from your reservoir.
How exactly do you replace that intake filter?
Before replacing it be sure to wear protective clothing!
Remove the old suction filter from the bottle and rinse it thoroughly in a bucket of water. Then loosen the nipple at the top of the suction filter and pull it off the suction line (flexible). Remove the first meter of the intake line with scissors and attach the new intake filter.
