Injection valve from the brand Hanna Instruments
Hanna Instruments' injection valves have been used for years by our technicians because of their simplicity and few problems. An injection valve provides an injection of pH minus, chlorliquide or flocculant and does not allow water into the casings to fill up the reservoir. Injection valves should be replaced annually or bi-annually so as not to cause problems. When changing the injection valve, we always suggest replacing the peristaltic casing with it.
How to replace the injection valve
First, turn off the filter system and close all the valves of the intake lines. Remove the injection line from the injection valve and so you can use water tongs or english wrench to remove the injection valve. Before installing the new valve you should apply Teflon to ensure water seal. Once you have everything assembled you can test the injection by priming the automation.
