Description
A swimming pond pump is an absolute must for almost every pond. With a swim pond pump, you ensure that the pond water stays in motion, keeping the water quality good. Moving water is more resistant to "bad" bacteria, can release waste products to the atmosphere and can absorb the necessary oxygen and carbon dioxide. The Aquaforte 10000LV Plus can also serve as a drive for your filter, stream or waterfall.

Is the Aquaforte Ecomax 10000LV Plus suitable for your pond?
The capacity of a pond pump initially decides whether it is suitable for your pond. Generally it can be said that the entire pond volume (for example, 10,000 liters) in up to four hours should be pumped by the pond pump. For ponds with a high fish population, we often recommend that the entire pond volume be pumped in up to three hours.
So the Aquaforte 10000LV Plus is suitable for ponds up to about 40m3?
No, unfortunately it is not that easy. In the pond, the pond pump still has to deal with certain resistances. For example, if the pond pump has to feed water to a fountain, waterfall or stream, it loses some of its power. Also pumping water through a (pressure) filter or through pipes costs the pond pump a lot of power. To maintain a safe margin, we often recommend buying a pump that can empty the pond, according to specifications, in two hours.
