What are the benefits of AquaFinesse?
AquaFinesse primarily provides unprecedented clean, clear and odor-free water. In addition, AquaFinesse prevents lime buildup on heaters, pumps and smooth walls. Why AquaFinesse?
Your spa is polluted daily by many bacteria. These bacteria are constantly producing an impenetrable layer (biofilm). This is resistant to chlorine and other disinfectants. The biofilm is sticky and slimy and can be found on all moist surfaces. Think of the walls, pipes, cover or the jets. When it is really thick, you can scrape it off with your finger. Recognizable?
Unlike other disinfectants, AquaFinesse does have the ability to completely open and loosen the biofilm of bacteria. When this happens, the bacteria are exposed to the "evil outside world" and are hugely vulnerable. A minimal amount of disinfectant is now sufficient to destroy the bacteria. New bacteria no longer even have a chance to attach themselves. They flocculate within a short time and then flush into the filter system. Here they are destroyed thanks to the disinfectant.
How do you use AquaFinesse?
To keep your spa water clean, clear and odor-free, add the prescribed amount of AquaFinesse to the spa water weekly. We also recommend (as defined by law for public Jacuzzis) a minimum free chlorine of 1.5 ppm. To meet this requirement, chlorine tablets are provided in conjunction with a slow-release dispenser.
What is included in the AquaFinesse package?
Each AquaFinesse kit lasts between 3 and 6 months; of course, this depends on the size of your spa. An AquaFinesse kit for your spa contains everything you need in terms of water treatment and maintenance. For example, the set consists of:
- 2 x 2 liter bottles of AquaFinesse formula

- AquaFinesse cleaning tablets

Helpful tips
- Add AquaFinesse® to the water only once a week. Preferably choose a fixed day to do this.
- When the spa is not in use, we recommend placing the cover on the spa pool against sunlight.
- Air the cover twice a year by opening the zippers.
- A properly functioning ozone/UV system is recommended in conjunction with AquaFinesse®. Keep in mind the life of the ozonator and inquire with your spa supplier.
- All jets, sluices and waterfalls should be open when the spa is not in use.
- Take a shower before using the spa.
- You can add aromatherapy products if they are crystal-based. They may not be oil or liquid based.
