Why use winter liquid?

When a pool is shut down for an extended period of time - often from October to April - the water is susceptible to contamination. Despite a winter cover, sunlight and temperature changes still penetrate, which are ideal conditions for algae or scale formation. Winter Liquid contains active ingredients that inhibit the growth of microorganisms and prevent the formation of calcium deposits on the walls and bottom.

This preventive approach keeps the water clear and stable, so you don't have to scrub, pump or re-dose with large amounts of chlorine in the spring. You save time, money and effort when starting up your pool.

How to use winter liquid?

Using it is simple: you lower the water level below the injectors, empty the filter system and add the recommended amount of winter liquid to the water (usually 1 liter per 40 m³). Then you cover the pool with a winter tarp. Please note that winter liquid is not an antifreeze, but works purely against biological contamination and scale. Do you also want to protect your pipes? Then additionally use a pipe fluid or blow the pipes dry.
