Summer cover / Bubble wrap Swimming pool
A summer cover offers an environmentally friendly way to heat your pool thanks to its additional heating effect. In addition to heating the water, this pool cover has other practical benefits. Here's why a summer cover or bubble wrap is a must-have for your pool.
Excellent insulation with pool bubble wrap
A summer cover provides excellent insulation for the pool water. Especially at night, the water can cool significantly, which can reduce the fun during the day. A summer cover, also called a bubble wrap, floats on the surface of the water. When the sun shines on the bubble wrap, it releases heat to the water. It also reduces water evaporation and helps reduce algae growth. This reduces the need to add chemicals. So bubble wrap is a valuable addition to any pool.
Reduced chlorine consumption
With a summer sail, you can also reduce chlorine consumption. This may seem strange, but it is easy to explain. Sunlight breaks down chlorine. The less direct sunlight reaches your pool, the longer and more effective the chlorine remains in fighting bacteria and algae.
Which Bubble Wrap Fits My Pool?
Not every pool is the same, which is why we offer standard summer covers in different sizes and shapes, as well as customization options. Do you have a stand-up pool from brands such as Intex, Bestway or Exit? Then a standard summer cover is ideal. We offer round, oval, rectangular and special summer covers for wooden pools. For built-in pools, we recommend a custom-made summer cover, where you can choose the shape, size, material, finish and type of roll-up. A solar cover is also an option.
How do I place the bubble wrap on the pool?
Installing a bubble wrap or summer cover is very simple. A roll-up system is often used to easily roll the bubble wrap over the pool. The summer cover is attached to the roller with clips, so you can easily roll the cover up and down. The roll-up system is placed next to the pool or on the railing of the set-up pool. Don't have a roller system? Then you can also lay the summer cover loose on the water.
